Dr. Wafa Al-Daily is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of EHAAR International, LLC. 

Dr. Al-Daily is an international development expert with 20 years of varied experience in higher education, governance, teaching, research, policy analysis, urban planning, community development, and capacity development. As a professional in the field of international development, Dr. Al-Daily also has extensive management experience in international program administration and partnership development, grant and contract administration, grant writing, project management, strategic planning, financial oversight and continuous quality assessment. Dr. Al-Daily has worked in academia, governmental and non-governmental agencies, as well as in the private sector. In addition, she has worked with disadvantaged and minority populations in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Al-Daily has served as Associate Director for Global Initiatives and Partnerships within the Virginia Tech Language and Culture Institute, as well as Coordinator of Middle East and North Africa Initiatives within the Virginia Tech Center for International Research, Education and Development. She has also held the position of Assistant Professor within the College of Engineering at Sana’a University since 1997. In addition, she has been a consultant to a number of organizations, including: the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF); Social Fund for Development (SFD); Saudi National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation (NCAAA); Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF); and, MENASA World. She has experience in the Middle East and North Africa, United States, South and Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe.

Dr. Al-Daily is a certified practitioner of Kirton Adoption-Innovation (KAI) Inventory Problem Solving and Cognitive Style. She is also a certified practitioner in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and a facilitator of intergroup dialogue and human relations. Dr. Al-Daily has professional certificates in Leadership Excellence, Supervisory Excellence, and Preparing Future Professoriates. In addition, she holds a Ph.D. in Planning, Governance and Globalization (PGG) from Virginia Tech, Master of City and Regional Studies (CRS) from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Sana’a University. Dr. Al Daily is fluent in English and Arabic and conversationally proficient in French and Russian.

Dr. Wafa Al-Daily

Mr. Hameed Khattak is the Co-Founder and Senior Executive Director, Operations of EHAAR International, LLC. His passion for helping people and industrial experience in food safety and security led him to establish EHAAR in collaboration with Dr. Wafa Al-Daily.

Mr. Khattak is a seasoned management professional with more than a decade spent in leadership positions at various Fortune 100 manufacturers. In these roles, he developed a diverse skillset in leadership, business operations, general business management and team building. He has successfully led large, international teams and managed business operations with annual budgets in excess of US$100 million. He has regional experience throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and Australia.

Mr. Khattak holds a Master of Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University, where he also completed coursework in Business Administration. In addition, he holds a certificates in Strategic Management and Business Communication from Harvard University and a certificate in Better Process Control Systems from the University of California.

Mr. Khattak is fluent in English, Urdu, Pashto, Punjabi and Hindi and conversationally proficient in Arabic and Korean.
