Who We Are

EHAAR International, LLC is a development consultancy that facilitates connections between various organizations, enterprises, governments and development experts around the world to develop innovative solutions to the challenges that confront the poor in developing countries.

We believe that every community should be empowered with the tools it needs to thrive. Consequently, we focus our practice on five key themes that promote self-reliance. These themes, which are reflected in our name, are: 

  • Education;

  • Health; 

  • Agriculture (i.e., Food Safety and Security);

  • Atmosphere (i.e., Energy and Environment); and,

  • Reconstruction

Throughout our work, we strive to promote an inclusive environment where people of all social and cultural backgrounds can freely express their opinions, and fully participate in building their communities.

 

How We Work

Through its work, EHAAR creates positive change and impact that can be sustained at the local level. We achieve this by:

  • Partnering with diverse stakeholders, such as: government officials and representatives; representatives of various organizations; representatives of local and international organizations; academic researchers; subject matter experts; and, the general public;

  • Utilizing the resources of the world-class academic institutions;

  • Incorporating best management practices into our work;

  • Developing strategic partnerships and teams to build local capacity to address important issues in education, health, agriculture, atmosphere, and reconstruction;

  • Reaching under-resourced and neglected communities and populations;

  • Applying best management practices from around the world to achieve desired change;

  • Facilitating leadership development and capacity building through institutional and on-site training, as well as through access to a vast network of mentors and experts;

  • Developing community capacity to be self-reliant and manage their own challenges; and,

  • Engaging bottom-of-the-pyramid players in the policy- and decision-making processes in order to achieve desired change, impact communities, and increase engagement.
